A
crock-meter is used to determine the color fastness to rubbing
of textile fabric, yarn on leather under either dry or rub
conditions. The equipment is operated by a gear motor, and
the arm moves in an oscillating motion over the test specimen
with a specified load & dia of the finger. The rubbing
finger is having a flat base which is covered with a piece
of standard white crocking cloth which is hold by a stainless
steel spring clip and move over the test specimen in a oscillating
motion. The crocking cloth picks up the colour lost by the
specimen under test. A 3 digit reset counter is provided to
unable to take the desired No.’s of rub and same is
displayed in the digital counter. Test specimen is held by
the Abrassive paper with the help of acrylic plat mounted
on the solid base and the equipment is painted with a metallic
